TECLA

TECLA is the precedent study of an ambitious technological advancement into the 3D printing of structure. The term "TECLA" is a hybrid of “technology” and “clay”. The precedent study focused on the material make-up (being made from local earth) and passive conditioning of space through its elegant yet insightful design. Additionally, the brief study looks at how the manufacturers anticipate construction to be aggregated in a hexagonal formation. The primary focus was on diagram representation of the form.
